Job summary

ActAI is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to spearhead critical technical searches across AI/ML and engineering leadership. You will build talent maps, engage, and close senior candidates while calibrating interview standards with engineering leaders.

Expect hands-on sourcing, coaching of recruiters, and rapid iteration to scale our technical hiring capabilities. You will partner closely with senior engineers to shape profiles, assess depth, and ensure hires meet high technical and cultural

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical recruiting experience
• Experience hiring engineers via direct sourcing and headhunting
• Deep familiarity with software engineering and AI/ML profiles
• Ability to distinguish exceptional technical work from branding or CV keywords
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leaders on hiring strategy
• Demonstrated ability to coach recruiters and improve sourcing quality
• Strong judgement and hands-on approach in fast-growth environments

Responsibilities

• Lead ActAI's highest-priority technical searches across AI/ML, engineering leadership, backend, infrastructure, web and mobile.
• Build search strategies and talent maps for scarce technical talent across global AI and engineering markets.
• Personally source, engage, assess and close senior and difficult-to-hire candidates.
• Set a high bar for technical profile assessment and ensure quality before progress.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define hiring profiles and calibrate interview standards.
• Coach recruiters on sourcing strategy, candidate engagement and closing.
• Review pipeline quality, identify gaps, and adjust strategy quickly.
• Develop repeatable recruiting practices that improve quality and speed as ActAI scales.
