The Hanover Insurance Group in Hartford, CT is seeking a Senior Technical Property Adjuster for a remote, full-time role with field investigations. You will manage highly complex field property claims, including CAT responses, with minimal oversight and travel on short notice.

You will lead investigations, assess coverage, set reserves, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with legal, underwriting, vendors, and agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; typically 8+ years in the industry.
• Strong Xactimate usage with level 3 certification or ability to achieve.
• Expert knowledge of regulatory frameworks and statutes.
• Able to independently manage high-value field claims.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Investigate highly complex field property claims, including CAT responses.
• Assess coverage, reserve rights, and coordinate with experts.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and communicate complex information clearly.
• Set reserves and authorize payments within authority.
• Mentor junior adjusters and support training initiatives.
