Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Technical Property Adjuster for a remote Full-time/Exempt role with field investigations. You will independently manage highly complex and high-value field property service claims, including CAT responses, with travel on short notice.

Strong technical expertise, negotiation skills, and collaborative approach are essential to deliver high-quality service and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Experience negotiating highly complex claims and knowledge of statutes/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate highly complex field property claims including CAT responses.
• Lead investigations, assess coverage, and issue reservation of rights and letters.
• Collaborate with legal, underwriting, vendors, and agents to evaluate claims.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and communicate complex information clearly.
• Mentor junior adjusters and support training initiatives.
• Maintain detailed claim records and ensure regulatory compliance.
