Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact IT projects in support of the CMS Eligibility Support Program. You will manage schedules, resources, risks, testing, and customer communication while coordinating with technical managers and external vendors.

The role requires seven years of IT project leadership, PMP, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust, with up to 10% travel. Remote work options may be available depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in any field.
• A minimum of seven years of experience leading information technology projects or programs.
• An active Project Management Professional certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• The ability to travel up to 10 percent, as required.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework, Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Experience leading multiple large-scale projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage large, complex technical projects from initiation through completion.
• Oversee schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and testing.
• Lead briefings, meetings, and status reviews with stakeholders and vendors.
• Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure adherence to governance, contract expectations, and delivery schedules.
• Train and mentor teams on Scaled Agile Framework principles and processes.
• Document lessons learned and drive process improvements.
