Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver large, complex IT programs in support of the CMS Eligibility Support Program. You will manage schedules, risks, resources, and stakeholders, coordinating multiple projects and teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires seven+ years of IT project leadership, a PMP certification, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust, with travel up to 10%. Proven experience with Agile/Waterfall approaches is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Seven+ years of experience leading IT projects or programs.
• Active Project Management Professional certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework, Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Experience leading three to four large-scale technical projects.
• Experience managing internal and external project teams.
• Experience presenting information to executive sponsors.
• Experience communicating technical project information to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex technical projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage three to four large technical projects in different lifecycle phases.
• Coordinate program-level initiatives with multiple related projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items and status reports.
• Monitor progress and take corrective actions to protect schedule, quality and objectives.
• Lead project briefings, technical meetings, and reviews with stakeholders and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with governance, policies, and contract requirements.
• Prepare documentation for daily and weekly meetings and reviews.
• Review test plans and support production deployments to minimize disruption.
• Document lessons learned and drive process improvements.
