Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead large, complex technical projects within the CMS Eligibility Support program. You will manage schedules, scope, risks, and customer communications while coordinating with technical managers and vendors.

The role requires seven+ years of IT project leadership, a PMP, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust. Travel up to 10% and experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least seven years of experience leading IT projects or programs.
• Active Project Management Professional certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework, Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Experience leading three to four large-scale technical projects.
• Experience managing diverse teams including internal and external resources.
• Experience presenting project information to executives.
• Experience communicating technical project information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Experience using Jira, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex technical projects from initiation through completion.
• Oversee multiple projects across different lifecycle phases.
• Coordinate program-level initiatives with other project managers.
• Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and status reports.
• Lead briefings and reviews with customers, leadership, and external vendors.
• Ensure governance, contract expectations, and delivery schedules are met.
• Produce documentation for daily and weekly meetings.
• Mentor teams on SAFe, governance processes, and project leadership.
