Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead large, complex technical projects from initiation through delivery. You will oversee schedules, dependencies, risks, testing, and customer communication across multiple projects and programs.

You will mentor other PMs and coordinate with technical managers to secure resources while ensuring compliance with Serco policies and project governance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years leading IT projects or programs.
• Active Project Management Professional certification.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework, Scrum, Agile or Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex technical projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage multiple projects in different lifecycle phases.
• Coordinate with project managers and technical managers.
• Develop schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and status reports.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Lead briefings and reviews with customers and executives.
• Document lessons learned and promote process improvements.
• Mentor team members on SAFe and governance practices.
