Job summary

IBM Global Sales is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to leverage deep client knowledge and market insights to inform product build decisions and define market requirements. You will craft messaging across audiences, lead cross-functional collaboration to align strategies, and drive GTM plans that accelerate growth.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and strong collaboration with Product Management and development.

Qualifications

3+ years of product marketing experience supporting B2B SaaS products for technical users, or 5+ years of relevant experience in consulting, B2B SaaS or product.
Strong product marketing, copywriting, evangelism, competitive positioning, and messaging skills.
Able to explain complex products and architectures and partner with Product Management to validate technical accuracy.
Data-informed mindset with goals that are measurable for every project.

Responsibilities

Define market requirements and differentiated positioning for IBM Confluent offerings.
Craft messaging to drive product consideration and adoption using client success stories and analyst insights.
Create technical content for varying audiences (blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures) for diverse personas.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product, design, sales, and partner ecosystem to drive outcomes.
Lead GTM strategies and analyze funnel metrics to improve awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
