Job summary

The Walt Disney Company’s Disney Experiences Technology is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a program of interdependent projects across engineering, product, and operations. You will define plans, manage budgets, and drive delivery through the full lifecycle.

You will partner with software engineers, architects, and senior leaders to establish governance, processes, and metrics, and to apply Agile, Lean, Kanban, and DevOps practices in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in technical PM/PM for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Understanding of Cloud, APIs, databases, lifecycle, engineering/product dev.
• Influence and negotiation, communication, maturity & organizational savvy.
• Experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall blending.
• DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD).
• Coaching teams on PM practices (Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall).
• Ability to understand architectural/technical aspects of a project.
• Experience managing large project budgets.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Keynote, Smartsheet, MyPPM, Jira, Tableau, PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Drives execution and delivery of technical projects through full delivery life cycle.
• Works with engineering to establish processes across program areas for prioritized projects.
• Defines, optimizes, and manages Agile ceremonies and processes for large teams; manages hardware/software procurement.
• Develops a program plan with parallel projects and multiple PMs delivering significant business impact.
• Monitors and adjusts program plan to meet business goals amid changes.
• Creates governance and provides senior leadership oversight and control for the program.
• Implements fiscal practices, records and reports on expenditures & ROI.
• Develops infrastructure to support the program.
