Job summary

NELSON Worldwide is seeking a Senior Technical Designer for its Workplace Practice to lead the technical execution and documentation of corporate interiors projects. You will collaborate with project teams to deliver design intent, coordinating multi-discipline inputs and ensuring compliance with Nelson standards.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership in construction documentation, extensive experience with AutoCAD and Revit, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale interior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, and 10+ years' experience in architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required.
• Experience with construction documentation and coordination across disciplines.
• Ability to lead design teams and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in the preparation of construction documentation.
• Partner with the Project Manager in the overall delivery of the project goals.
• Lead or participate in design charrettes and project team meetings.
• Participate in interviews and recruiting of professional staff as requested.
• Mentor and direct the design work of teammates and participate in performance evaluations.
• Foster external and internal client service and maintain relationships with consultants and contractors.
