Job summary

NELSON is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its Workplace Practice. You will lead design efforts from concept through construction, coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors to deliver exceptional workplaces for top brands.

This role emphasizes leadership, visioning, and technical execution in a collaborative studio. The ideal candidate will have advanced design skills, strong BIM experience (Revit, AutoCAD), and a track record of mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Proficient in interior architecture principles, space planning, and design development.
• Strong knowledge of FF&E, finishes, lighting, materials, and sustainability.
• Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint and BIM workflows.
• Ability to mentor teammates and lead design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in design charrettes and project team meetings.
• Develop design concepts within client goals and budget.
• Prepare client presentations and deliverables across schematic design to construction documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors.
