Job summary

NELSON is seeking a Technical Designer II to join our Workplace Practice. You will assist in construction documents, design development, and drawing production across project phases, partnering with the project team to meet schedules and deliverables.

The role requires strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, knowledge of LEED/WELL, and ability to manage multiple smaller projects with guidance on larger efforts. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Highly proficient in both Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Photoshop and/or InDesign preferred.
• Must be deadline-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Architectural/Technical experience on Corporate Interiors and Workplace design.
• Basic knowledge of sustainability, LEED guidelines, and WELL Building; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
• Update design documents and incorporate red lines as needed.
• Assist other team members during field surveys.
• Participate in the design process as directed.
• Provide material, product, and system research and compile project data.
• Prepare Addenda and Bulletin documentation.
• Log Shop Drawings and translate comments.
