NELSON Worldwide is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our Workplace Practice in a role that leads design teams from programming through construction documentation for premier clients. You will develop concepts, lead client presentations, and guide projects to successful completion in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The position requires advanced space planning, FF&E coordination, and strong communication skills, with opportunities for growth and exposure to innovative workplace

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
NCIDQ exam and state registration strongly preferred.
8+ years in architecture/interiors is typical for senior role.

Responsibilities

Lead project design team’s efforts and coordinate with Project Manager.
Develop design concepts, space planning, and FF&E coordination.
Prepare drawings, renderings, and presentations for clients.
Oversee documentation, bids, and subcontractor coordination.
Ensure compliance with codes and Nelson standards.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.
