Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Technical Designer II to support design development, construction documentation, and drawing production across project phases. You will assist the team in administration and project data compilation while adhering to Nelson standards.

Ideal candidates have strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, familiarity with LEED/WELL guidelines, and a sharp eye for detail. This role offers a path to leadership on challenging corporate interior projects with flexible work options.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field.
5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with Photoshop and/or InDesign preferred.
Must be deadline-oriented.
Strong attention to detail.
Architectural/Technical experience in Corporate Interiors and Workplace design.
Basic knowledge of sustainability, LEED guidelines, and WELL Building. Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
Update design documents and incorporate red lines as needed.
Assist other team members during field surveys.
Participate in the design process as directed.
Provide material, product, and system research and compile project data.
Prepare Addenda and Bulletin documentation.
Plot/Prepare drawings for digital transmittance to consultants/clients/contractors.
Follow NELSON standards and guidelines in deliverables.
