Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex technology-driven initiatives from planning through delivery, release, and post-implementation transition. You will coordinate teams, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies while ensuring alignment with governance standards and business objectives.

You will facilitate Agile delivery, oversee PI planning, sprint coordination, and release readiness, and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology initiatives by developing and managing integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Identify, assess, track, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, ensuring timely escalation and resolution when needed.
• Ensure alignment with governance standards, delivery methodologies, compliance requirements, and quality expectations.
• Translate complex technical delivery information into clear, actionable updates for business partners and executive leadership.
