Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives from planning through delivery, release, and transition. You will align stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee governance while driving Agile delivery and cross-team collaboration.

The role requires 5+ years in related fields, a Bachelor's or advanced degree, and experience in enterprise delivery with strong risk and dependency management.

• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology initiatives with integrated plans and release timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs for successful delivery.
• Maintain technical and product knowledge to anticipate delivery risks and resolve blockers and dependencies.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation.
• Translate complex technical updates into clear information for business partners and executives.
• Support Agile practices through PI planning, sprint coordination, and cross-team execution oversight.
