Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex technology-driven initiatives from planning through delivery and post-implementation support.

You will coordinate Agile teams, manage budgets and risks, and serve as the primary communications focal point with stakeholders and executives. The role requires strong governance, roadmapping, and cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology initiatives by developing and managing integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation and resolution.
