Job summary
Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex technology initiatives from planning through delivery, release, and post-implementation transition. You will coordinate Agile teams, manage budgets and risks, and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and leadership.
The role emphasizes governance, roadmap alignment, and effective communication across business and technology partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
- 5+ years of experience in related field.
- In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology initiatives by developing and managing integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation and resolution.
- Translate complex technical delivery information into clear, actionable updates for business partners and executives.
- Support Agile delivery practices through PI planning, sprint and release coordination, dependency management, and cross-team execution oversight.
