Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in the United States seeks a Technical Specialist, SRG to manage and investigate complex claims across several lines of coverage, including bodily injury, property, and litigation. You will determine coverage, evaluate liability, assess damages, establish reserves, and coordinate settlements while maintaining professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree, 3+ years of related experience, an active adjuster

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; three years of bodily injury or property damage experience preferred.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage complex claims and negotiate settlements.
• Understanding of insurance principles and policy language.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims from start to finish.
• Investigate information, determine coverage and liability, and establish reserves.
• Provide timely communication to customers, counsel and vendors.
• Coordinate with counsel for litigation management and support.
• Maintain records of all claim activities and decisions.
• Apply new technologies and AI tools to improve productivity and service quality.
