Job summary

Travelers in Houston seeks a Technical Specialist, SRG to manage complex claims across bodily injury, property damage, and coverage evaluation. You will investigate, determine coverage, assess liability and establish reserves while coordinating settlements and mentoring teammates.

Role requires collaboration with counsel on litigation, maintenance of detailed records, and adept use of technology including AI tools to sustain high-quality service and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong analytical ability.
• Two years of bodily injury or property damage liability experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims and litigation.
• Investigate information, determine coverage, evaluate liability and establish reserves.
• Communicate with customers, counsel, vendors and stakeholders promptly.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and ensure timely payments.
• Support litigation strategies with Counsel and maintain case records.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI tools.
