Candidates should have 5+ years in hydroelectric generation, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with heavy industrial equipment. The role offers remote work with travel to job sites and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hydroelectric generator experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Deep understanding of the repair/replacement practices for mechanical equipment and heavy industrial machinery used in hydroelectric facilities.
• Familiarity with maintaining multi-purpose hydroelectric facilities, including dams, powerhouses, and gate/valve houses.
• Knowledge of safe operation practices for heavy construction equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan project activities, allocate resources, and ensure all site documentation and technical procedures are current and accessible.
• Champion EHS guidelines and conduct risk assessments; have authority to pause or stop work if safety or quality standards are compromised.
• Perform in-process rewind tests (e.g., high potential, surge, stator core loop, insulation resistance) and conduct fault investigations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the customer and subcontractors; provide on-the-job training and manage team performance, fostering safety and discipline.
• Participate in pre-bid job walks, assist in developing cost estimates for proposals, and track project risks to minimize expenditures.
