Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a pre-sales coordinator to manage customer requests from the pre-purchase phase through shipment. You will work closely with Regional Sales Managers and cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance and Customer Service to define configurations, review quotes, and ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task under pressure, with occasional travel up to 25% for domestic

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience or 10+ years in related field.
• Semiconductor industry experience preferred; capital equipment experience a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills; ability to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and respond to pre-purchase customer requests through final shipment.
• Interact with Regional Sales Managers and internal Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service groups.
• Review customer product purchase specifications and define system configurations to be quoted.
• Review and approve quotes for technical content and create system build configurations for Manufacturing.
• Monitor system build status and provide timely feedback to sales channel.
• Support special projects and custom requests as part of system sales.
• Manage customer source inspections, application studies and factory demos.
• Attend and participate in periodic meetings to support activities.
