Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a Semiconductor Inspection Product Manager to bridge customer defect-detection needs with engineering. You will oversee the full lifecycle of inspection, metrology, and yield-management tools, shaping roadmaps and defining specifications to maximize revenue.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and marketing to ensure system performance, manufacturability, and timely delivery, with international travel at least 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
• MS or PhD strongly preferred for highly technical hardware.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy & long-term roadmaps from VoC & market trends.
• Own product lifecycle from concept to EOL with stage-gate reviews.
• Set pricing strategy, develop value proposition, analyze competition.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with engineering, operations, and marketing.
• Engage with customers, manage escalations, and support technical accounts.
• Travel internationally to customer sites at least 20% of the time.
