Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Canada is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as the principal technical advisor to enterprise customers. You will guide deployment, optimization, and operational health of AWS services across diverse workloads and industries.

The role focuses on driving adoption of Compute, Storage, DB, IoT and more, coordinating with senior leadership and ensuring incidents and trade-offs are managed with risk awareness. Travel may be 10% or more.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to customer environments.
• Represent AWS to customers and drive discussions with senior leadership on incidents and risk.
• Help customers plan and build solutions using AWS best practices and services.
