Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive cloud platform. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) supports Enterprise customers, acting as the voice of the customer and technical advisor to drive adoption of AWS services and best practices.

This role emphasizes proactive guidance, strategic planning, and cross-team collaboration with engineers and service teams, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, math, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical work experience
• 6+ years of technical engineering experience
• 7+ years of experience across Compute/Storage/Networking/CDN/Databases/DevOps/Big Data and Analytics/Security/Applications Development in a distributed systems environment
• Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead
• Experience in Information Technology operations
• Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to executives
• Development in a distributed systems environment
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
• Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings

Responsibilities

• Advocate and provide strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices.
• Proactively keep customers' AWS environments operationally healthy and resilient.
• Travel up to 10% or more as needed.
