The Equus Group in Chicago seeks an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join its growing Talent Acquisition team. This high-ownership role partners with engineering leaders to build hiring strategies, identify hard-to-find talent, and manage searches from intake to offer.

You will recruit for software engineering, infrastructure and other technical roles in a fast-paced, competitive market, acting as a true talent advisor rather than an order-taker.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a focus on technical hiring.
• Strong track record recruiting software engineers and other highly specialized technical talent.
• Experience in technology, financial services or competitive recruiting environments.
• Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive candidates.
• Strong stakeholder management to advise and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for experienced technology hires across software engineering, infrastructure, hardware and other technical roles.
• Partner with engineering leaders to understand needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Advise hiring managers with market intelligence and candidate insights throughout searches.
• Develop sourcing strategies to engage passive talent in competitive markets.
• Conduct market mapping and build pipelines for difficult-to-fill roles.
• Manage candidates through interview process with a high-touch candidate experience.
• Collaborate with recruiters and People teams across the organization and improve processes.
