Job summary

Optiver is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for experienced technical talent in Chicago. You will partner with engineering leaders to design interview processes, assess candidates, and negotiate offers, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.

You will develop innovative sourcing strategies, monitor pipeline health with data, and contribute to a white-glove recruitment journey.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in full-cycle recruitment for experienced talent, ideally in-house and within financial services, technology, or professional services.
• Past experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally within a competitive industry.
• Knowledge of talent markets for engineers in software/hardware domains is highly advantageous.
• A consultative approach with experience influencing stakeholders at all seniority levels.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, partnering with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, design interview processes, assess candidates, and lead complex offer negotiations through offer acceptance
• Act as a trusted talent advisor to engineering leaders, providing market insights, coaching on hiring best practices, and guiding hiring decisions through data and expertise
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent, leveraging market mapping, referrals, research, and creative outreach to build high-quality pipelines
• Take a data-driven approach to monitoring pipeline health, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform hiring strategy
• Deliver a white-glove candidate experience from initial engagement through offer acceptance, representing Optiver's culture throughout the recruitment journey
