Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter to lead engineering hiring globally, partnering with senior stakeholders and shaping the talent strategy.

You will design assessments, manage end-to-end processes, and continually raise the bar for technical recruitment as the company scales. You will work with backend, frontend, distributed systems, and infrastructure roles, using data to optimize funnel health and hiring velocity, while promoting a respectful candidate experience and strong employer

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting focused on engineering, preferably within a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of the engineering landscape: backend, frontend, distributed systems, and infrastructure roles.
• Experience partnering with technical hiring managers and translating business needs into effective hiring strategies.
• Sourcing and market intelligence: understanding the technical talent landscape, role scarcity, competition, and skill evolution.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in recruiting decisions and process design.
• Growth mindset: curiosity and willingness to learn, applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles across a company & global scope.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders: influence hiring strategy, role intakes, prioritization, and trade-offs.
• Set and uphold a high bar for technical hiring: design and calibrate candidate assessments with engineering leadership.
• Use data to drive decisions: track funnel health, talent pool effectiveness, and hiring velocity.
• Represent and evolve Vanta’s engineering talent brand with a thoughtful, high-signal recruiting process.
