Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr Technical Account Manager (TAM) for US Federal, Enterprise Support to own the DoD portfolio’s support strategy and shepherd mission-focused cloud solutions.

You will build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, lead operational reviews, guide architecture decisions, and coordinate cross-team responses to incidents while driving adoption of secure, scalable AWS services. Travel of 10%+ may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, or operating distributed applications.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Current TS/SCI US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor to a DoD customer portfolio.
• Own and execute the DoD customer support strategy.
• Advise mission owners on operating AI and ML workloads, governance and activation readiness.
• Conduct proactive reviews and health assessments to identify risks and improve resilience.
• Lead incident management and cross-team resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Guide customers through architecture decisions using AWS Well-Architected Framework.
