Job summary

UHY LLP seeks a Tax Principal to drive strategic leadership of the tax practice, shaping innovative tax strategies and managing high-level client relationships. You will oversee engagements, mentor a senior team, and lead business development initiatives to elevate the firm’s market position.

The role requires extensive tax advisory experience, CPA licensure, and a record of leadership in a CPA or professional services environment. Advanced degrees or JD are preferred for specialty roles."

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Tax Strategy and Engagement Oversight: lead cutting-edge tax planning and manage engagements.
• Research and Analysis: stay current on tax laws and apply insights to engagements and training.
• Client Communication: nurture high-level client relationships and tailor tax strategies.
• Team Collaboration: mentor and develop a seasoned tax team and promote collaboration.
• Process Improvement and Innovation: drive workflow improvements and quality control.
• Strategic Business Development: lead growth through proposals, client meetings, and initiatives.
