Job summary

Affirm is reinventing credit with a remote-first culture and a focus on merchants and developers. You will lead a team of Technical Account Managers, guiding them to ensure post-sale technical success for our SMB merchants and advising product teams and business partners throughout the lifecycle.

You will recruit, mentor and coach TAMs, drive OKRs, and work cross-functionally to optimize integrations, troubleshoot issues and deliver scalable technical solutions across the Affirm product suite.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a B2B customer-facing technical role and three years as a people manager.
• Strong background in web development technologies and REST APIs with CS degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent relationship builder with engineering customers and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and develop TAMs supporting SMB merchants.
• Collaborate with Client Success to grow merchant networks and expand product usage post-launch.
• Set and track team OKRs, and recruit as needed.
• Forecast TAM demand and participate in hiring decisions.
• Evaluate hires’ technical abilities and guide on integration and optimization.
• Advocate for merchants across functions to meet top priorities.
