Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Technical Account Management (SMB Merchants) to guide a team of TAMs focused on the technical success of our SMB partners.

You will mentor, coach, and align cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and client-facing groups to drive seamless integrations and scalable growth. In this remote-first role, you will set strategy, establish OKRs, forecast resources, and ensure merchants realize the full value of Affirm’s product suite after launch.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a B2B, customer-facing technical role.
• At least three years of people management experience.
• Strong background in web development technologies and REST APIs.
• Excellent relationship builder and communicator.
• Bonus: experience with e-commerce or retail clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of TAMs supporting SMB merchants.
• Partner with Client Success to grow merchants post-launch.
• Establish and track team OKRs and proactive plans.
• Forecast TAM demand and recruit as needed.
• Provide guidance on integration solutions and optimizations.
• Advocate for merchants across functions.
