Job summary

Rocky Mountain Institute is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent & Performance to lead talent management, performance culture, and workforce planning across our global organization. You will own performance management, talent programs, and succession, reporting to the Director of Talent & People Operations.

This role also oversees Talent Acquisition, Rotational Associate Program, internal mobility, and people analytics, partnering with senior leaders to align talent strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience with ownership of talent programs and performance management at a program design level.
  • Experience implementing and evolving full-cycle performance management programs across a complex, multi-stakeholder org.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and maintain process integrity without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance management programs, including reviews, calibration, and promotion processes.
  • Oversee workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and talent analytics to inform leadership decisions.
  • Own talent review, succession planning, and internal mobility programs.
  • Manage Rotational Associate Program and intern lifecycle to strengthen internal talent pipelines.
  • Shape career pathing frameworks and internal mobility to support retention.
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition strategy, prioritization, and equitable processes across geographies.
