Job summary

Rocky Mountain Institute seeks a Total Rewards Senior Lead to own compensation, benefits, LOA policy, and people analytics for a global workforce. You will architect the function, setting strategy, standards, and cross‑functional collaboration across People Operations and Finance.

The role requires leadership by influence, deep expertise in compensation, benefits, and analytics, and a track record of partnering with stakeholders to drive equity and impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Total Rewards, Compensation, or Benefits with ownership of strategy.
• Experience supporting a global workforce across geographies.
• Strong analytical ability with dashboards and reporting using HRIS data.
• Knowledge of US benefits compliance (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
• Excellent communication and ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve compensation strategy and administration for global workforce.
• Lead benefits program design and LOA policy oversight across regions.
• Own and lead people analytics, including pay equity reporting and benchmarking.
• Partner with People Partners and hiring managers on offers and equity decisions.
