Job summary

Heartland Business Systems seeks a Technical Architect to develop, implement, and support network services for consulting clients. You will mentor engineers, lead multi-technology projects, and ensure timely delivery while collaborating with Practice Leads and PMs.

You will design and advocate network solutions, maintain certifications, and stay current with industry standards. The role emphasizes leadership, client engagement, and a focus on delivering world-class network services.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in a technical related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications/experience.
• At least two professional level certifications.
• CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA or equivalent.
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions.
• Experience installing and supporting Cisco/HP-Aruba switches and routing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documentation and procedures.
• Lead large projects with PMs to meet time and budget goals.
• Provide leadership to engineers and ensure timely, accurate task completion.
• Serve as Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Communicate project updates and timelines to all stakeholders.
