Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an experienced specialist to provide cross-platform support across Windows, Linux, and VMware environments. You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analyses, and implement durable workarounds while collaborating with product management and development teams to enhance the end-user experience.

The role requires strong Active Directory, PKI, and scripting skills, with exposure to tools like Quest, McAfee, and SCCM/SCOM.

Qualifications

Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008/2012+ clustering and Windows platforms.
Proficient in Linux and VMWare environments.
Strong Active Directory management including GPOs and DNS/DHCP.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
Experience with Exchange 2010/2013 and Skype for Business 2015 is a plus.
Familiarity with security tooling (McAfee) and PKI.
Experience with Citrix and SCCM/SCOM is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized support across Windows, Linux, and VMWare platforms.
Deliver root cause assessments for complex issues and define workarounds.
Collaborate with product management and development teams to improve end-user experience.
Provide on-call out-of-hours support.
Manage incidents and SLA-driven deliverables.
Document processes and create system runbooks.
