Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an experienced IT support professional to provide specialist help across Windows, Linux, and VMware environments. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, proactive problem solving, and strong communication to meet SLAs in a large enterprise setting.

You will partner with business leaders and development teams to enhance end-user experience, deliver automation, and document processes. The position requires on-call support and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 & VMware environments.
• Strong Active Directory skills including ADFS, GPO, DNS/DHCP, and domain management.
• Experience with PKI, certificate management and IT security tooling (e.g., Quest Tools).
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with Exchange 2010/2013 and Skype for Business 2015.
• Experience with SCCM/SCOM and Forefront/MIM suites.
• Exposure to Citrix and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to meet SLAs and deliver incident/problem resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized support across Windows, Linux, and VMware environments.
• Lead root-cause analyses for complex technical issues.
• Define workarounds and drive service improvements.
• Collaborate with product management to improve end-user experience.
• Develop automated solutions for large enterprise environments.
• Respond to incidents and provide On-Call Out of Hours support.
• Document processes and maintain knowledge bases.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements.
