Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking an experienced IT specialist to provide specialized support across Windows, Linux, and VMware platforms. The role requires strong troubleshooting, independent decision-making, and clear communication with stakeholders.

You will join a team delivering end-user services, incident management, and proactive improvements, including on-call support and documentation creation. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, PKI, and virtualization is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, including clustering, Linux and VMware.
• Active Directory management including ADFS, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and trust relationships.
• PKI and certificate management.
• Exposure to Citrix technologies and virtualization.
• Scripting with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to deliver services aligned with company objectives.
• Manage and deliver root cause assessments for complex technical issues.
• Define workarounds for known errors and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with product management and development to enhance end-user experience.
• Provide On-Call Out of Hours Support.
• Document procedures and create processes.
