Job summary

Apt is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator III to support and enhance a complex enterprise technology environment. The role covers Windows and Linux servers, VMware, storage, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and enterprise apps.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, mentor juniors, contribute to architecture and planning, and help ensure security, performance, and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Comprehensive experience with VMware/ESXi virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and security.
• Proficient in PowerShell and Linux shell scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Windows and Linux servers, operating systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Manage and support VMware/ESXi virtualization environments, including maintenance and upgrades.
• Provide advanced administration and support for Microsoft 365 and related services.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and resolve complex issues across multiple platforms.
• Design, implement, and support infrastructure, interfaces, dependencies, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure and network documentation and diagrams.
