Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a senior Systems Engineer V focused on defining, integrating, and validating complex defense systems. You will mentor teams, drive MBSE practices, and ensure traceability across requirements with strong collaboration across propulsion, software, and hardware groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or related STEM field with 10+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree in related STEM field with 8+ years experience; or 14+ years in lieu of a degree.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent accepted with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority ensuring program-level systems engineering rigor and compliance with requirements.
• Oversee system, subsystem, and interface requirements definition with traceability and verification.
• Lead development and validation of system architecture and verification plans.
• Interface with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, and test teams for system-level performance.
• Manage system-level risk and integrate into program risk posture.
• Coordinate baselines, change control, and formal reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Provide MBSE leadership and toolchain alignment (SysML, MBSE standards).
• Liaise with customer and suppliers on requirements flowdown and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers to grow process maturity.
