Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer III for a hybrid role in Folsom, CA / Reno, NV to support DoD missile defense programs with MBSE, verification, and risk management. You will develop system requirements and MBSE artifacts while coordinating across propulsion, software, hardware, test, and customers.

Requirements include 4–7 years in systems engineering, MBSE expertise, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Travel ~10% and ITAR/EAR eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of systems engineering experience in DoD, aerospace, or missile defense programs.
• Experience with requirements development, verification planning, risk management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with MDA processes, technical reviews, and CDRL development.
• Hands-on MBSE experience using SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler/MagicDraw.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain system, subsystem, and interface requirements with traceability and compliance to MDA standards.
• Develop verification plans, procedures, compliance matrices, and support system-level reviews, inspections, and tests.
• Identify and manage technical risks, mitigation plans, and risk-tracking documentation.
• Develop and maintain MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo/MagicDraw.
• Coordinate with propulsion, software, hardware, test, GNC, quality, safety, customers, and suppliers.
• Support configuration/change control, SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR reviews, technical planning, schedules, and engineering deliverables.
