Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Reno, NV seeks a senior mechanical/aerospace engineer with deep testing, design, and systems engineering expertise to advance mission-critical programs. You will lead large-scale test programs, develop CAD models, and guide verification and validation activities to ensure safety and performance.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of experience, a relevant BS or MS, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) or more years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science in mechanical or aerospace engineering; equivalent experience considered.
• Must be able to obtain US security clearance.
• Strong collaboration and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing programs with advanced statistical techniques and data acquisition.
• Develop 2D/3D CAD designs and precise drawings with GD&T symbols.
• Coordinate program plans, requirements analysis, and risk management across teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Understand ballistics, propulsion principles, and system performance.
