Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems integration, testing, and enterprise engineering across NSG/ASG and partner programs. Qualifications

• Bachelors in a STEM field with substitutions allowed as described.
• 12+ years in systems engineering and testing on large programs.
• Experience with System of Systems and SOA across cloud/hybrid/on-prem.
• Strong lifecycle understanding and API testing.
• Familiar with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience Agile, DevOps, and traditional software lifecycles.
• Requirements analysis, system integration, and technical evaluations.
• Knowledge of NSG/ASG/NRO environments and DoD/NGA programs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or polygraph eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor mid-level and junior engineers across SE efforts.
• Guide the full SE lifecycle from requirements to system analysis.
• Plan and trace mission requirements, architectures, workflows, and procedures.
• Translate mission needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Allocate requirements across architecture components.
• Perform system integration across complex SoS and SOA.
• Conduct AoAs/CoAs, trade studies, and technical evaluations.
• Support strategic planning, risk, and performance engineering.
• Lead testing across enterprise environments (application, system, API, integration).
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test plans and scripts.
• Independent validation of software/hardware for compliance.
• Execute testing in Agile/DevSecOps environments with best practices.
• Investigate and resolve defects discovered during testing.
• Collaborate across multiple systems and government/industry teams.
