Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support GEOINT initiatives within NSG/ASG and other federal agencies. You will provide technical leadership across requirements, design, integration, and performance analysis to deliver resilient, enterprise-scale capabilities.

The role emphasizes guiding engineering teams through the lifecycle and collaborating with government stakeholders to translate mission needs into effective system solutions, in a fully onsite setting in VA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field; substitutions allowed for experience.
12+ years of experience in DoD/IC programs with systems engineering & PPBES knowledge.
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain it and pass a polygraph.
Experience across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor mid-level and junior systems engineers across lifecycle phases.
Provide guidance in requirements, solution, integration, testing, and performance analysis.
Develop and evaluate designs based on mission needs and enterprise architecture.
Support cross-platform systems integration across multiple programs.
