Job summary

Peraton in Chantilly/Springfield, VA is seeking a Senior Level Test and Integration Systems Engineer to lead critical GEOINT systems integration, testing, and enterprise engineering across NSG and ASG environments. You will guide teams through the full lifecycle, ensure secure, high‑performing mission systems, and mentor engineers in complex cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises settings.

The role requires extensive experience in systems and API testing, DevSecOps practices, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; substitutions allowed with experience.
• 12+ years of government/industry systems engineering experience.
• Experience with large-system architectures and SOA environments.
• Proficiency in application, system, and API testing.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and traditional software methods.
• Knowledge of NSG/ASG/NRO environments and DoD/IC programs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or SCI eligibility and polygraph ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers across systems engineering, integration, and testing.
• Guide the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment across enterprise systems.
• Plan, analyze, and trace mission requirements and architectures.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements and solutions.
• Perform systems integration across complex system of systems environments.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans and scripts.
• Conduct independent validation of software and hardware for compliance.
• Operate in Agile and DevSecOps environments with best practices.
