Job summary

Peraton in Chantilly or Springfield, VA seeks an Expert Systems Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across GEOINT systems within NSG, ASG, and federal agencies. You will translate mission needs into technical requirements and guide architecture, integration, testing, and performance analyses.

Ideal candidates have 18+ years in DoD/IC programs, NSG/ASG experience, and TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field; 4 years with no degree or 2 years with non-STEM degree.
• 18+ years of government/industry experience in DoD/IC acquisition and large SOA environments.
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle and NSG/ASG/NGA programs.
• TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership across GEOINT systems and capabilities.
• Translate mission needs into system requirements and solutions.
• Lead requirements, architecture, integration, test, and evaluation activities.
• Coordinate AoAs/CoAs and engineering assessments for major programs.
