Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Level Systems Engineer to support geospatial intelligence initiatives across the NSG, ASG, and other Federal Government agencies. The role requires technical leadership across the systems engineering lifecycle, with experience in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

Location is onsite in Chantilly or Springfield, VA. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility is required or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM.
• 12+ years of experience in DoD/IC programs.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor mid-level and junior systems engineers across all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance in requirements engineering, solution engineering, integration, testing, reliability, resiliency, maintainability, and performance analysis.
• Develop and evaluate system designs based on mission requirements, emerging technologies, and enterprise architecture.
• Support systems integration efforts across multiple platforms, services, and organizations.
• Partner with government stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements.
