Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Surety & Security Capability Lead (Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – Level 4) to join the Sentinel program team in Roy UT, Bellevue NE, Huntsville AL, CO Springs, or Manhattan Beach CA.

The role leads systems engineering activities across Nuclear Surety, Physical Security and System Safety, with responsibilities for requirements, architecture, and MBSE practices. Active DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience or advanced degrees with corresponding years of experience
• US Citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance and capability for SAP approval
• 4 years of MBSE/MBE experience and 3+ years with MBSE tools and standards

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of systems engineers to develop artifacts across Nuclear Surety, Physical Security and System Safety for Sentinel ground system
• Mature allocation of Technical Requirement Documents and standards through the hardware/software products
• Develop system architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture
• Contribute to system requirements development, management and analysis
• Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for modeling, tool integration and team collaboration
• Define and maintain interfaces and traceability across the Sentinel ground segment
