Northrop Grumman is seeking a Surety & Security Capability Lead (Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – Level 4) to join the Sentinel program across Roy UT, Bellevue NE, Huntsville AL, Colorado Springs CO, or Manhattan Beach CA.

The role leads MBSE activities, requirements allocation, and system architecture using Cameo, supporting high-consequence defense systems. The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, 8+ years of related experience (or 6+ with a master's), and strong collaboration across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8 years of experience; or master’s with 6 years; or PhD with 4 years.
• Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
• 4 years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations.
• 3 years of MBSE practices/languages/tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDraw.
• 5 years of experience with C2, physical security, cybersecurity, NC3, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of systems engineers to develop systems engineering artifacts across the Nuclear Surety, Physical Security, and System Safety capability threads for the Sentinel ground system.
• Develop and mature allocation of Technical Requirement Documents and standards through the full suite of Command Systems hardware and software products.
• Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture and contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
• Develop unifying modeling techniques, procedures, and processes for model development and team integration.
