Voyager Technologies, Inc. in Folsom, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer VI-PE (Team Manager) to lead a team of ~10 engineers on defense and aerospace programs, providing technical direction and programmatic oversight to meet mission objectives.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering in the Controllable Solid Propulsion department. Hybrid or remote work options are available, with base in Folsom, Reno, Huntsville, or Long Beach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical, electrical, or related field.
• Master’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Fifteen years of project engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for large defense programs.
• Provide people leadership and management support for ~10 engineers (~20% of duties).
• Define and guide system architecture, integration, and verification strategies.
• Oversee execution across IPTs and subcontractors with cost/schedule controls.
• Lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and ensure readiness against metrics.
